Mark has over three decades of sales leadership experience, predominately focused on developing and coaching high-performance sales teams.

Early in his career, Mark was entrusted by a national insurance broker to open their Mid-Atlantic small employer benefits market. The job was to begin selling risk management and employee benefits solutions to small and midsized companies. Developing prospects, and using careful and cooperative discovery methods, Mark was able to deliver the best solutions for their business needs. Within the first year, new business growth required Mark to hire and train his first sales team, which went on to lead the region in new sales.

Through his work with hundreds of small businesses, he developed his long-standing respect and admiration of the small business owner, and how hard they work to succeed.

During his career, Mark was able to further develop his knowledge and expertise building and leading sales teams in VP roles for companies like WellPoint, Highmark, Conifer Health, HRH/Willis, and PennCredit. These companies provide complex business solutions in the commercial, labor, government and municipal sectors. For each, Mark’s role was to develop the sales strategy and game plan, build and lead sales teams and execute to exceed goals.

Those years of results-focused work have given Mark proven practical knowledge and experience in sales best practices, processes, and training to win in any competitive marketplace. He is a Keynote speaker, sharing his experience and perspective on relevant topics that include Selling to the C Suite, Conference Sales Optimization, and More than Motivated, sales coaching.
